Oregon Women for Agriculture (OWA) announces the resignation of 1st Vice President Bethany Woodall from her position, effective October 19, 2025.
Bethany has been an active and engaged member of OWA, bringing thoughtful leadership to the state board and the Auction Committee. During her tenure, she has dedicated hundreds of hours of service to our organization.
“Bethany’s passion for transparency and fiscal responsibility has encouraged OWA to take a closer look at our internal systems,” said OWA President Sarah Puls. “As an organization, we are grateful for her service and the positive impact of the discussions she helped initiate.”
OWA has been actively implementing new accounting systems and financial processes following the transition to a 501c3 organization with a 501c5 branch to strengthen oversight and ensure long-term organizational integrity. These updates reflect the shared values of accuracy, consistency, and transparency that guide OWA’s work across the state.
The OWA Board of Directors will appoint an interim 1st Vice President to complete the current term through March 2026, after which the individual will succeed to the role of President. Planning is also underway to ensure a smooth transition of leadership within the Auction Committee.
Oregon Women for Agriculture extends its sincere appreciation to Bethany for her time, dedication, and service, and wishes her all the best in her future endeavors.
