Salem, OR — January 20, 2026 — Oregon Women for Agriculture (OWA) announces the resignation of Michelle Carmony from her roles as Membership Secretary of the OWA 501(c)(3) Board and Second Vice President/Membership Chair of the OWA 501(c)(5) Board, effective December 15, 2025.
Michelle served OWA during a period of significant organizational transition, including the establishment and operational alignment of the organization’s 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(5) entities. Her efforts supported member engagement, administrative continuity, and ongoing communication with OWA’s statewide membership.
OWA remains committed to strong governance, transparency, and compliance as it continues refining policies and bylaws to ensure clear operational separation and alignment with federal nonprofit requirements. The Board of Directors has initiated next steps to ensure continuity of membership services and will share updates as leadership responsibilities are reassigned.
The Board thanks Michelle for her service and dedication to Oregon Women for Agriculture and is pleased to announce that she will continue her involvement with the organization as President of the Marion–Clackamas Chapter.
