The Eastern Chapter has had a busy summer. Our chapter co-chaired the OWA booth at the state fair for the very first time. It was a fun experience and we were glad to share our Ag activity and knowledge. We will be setting up our information booth at a favorite local Sunflower Festival and a few Harvest Festivals this fall.
We have awarded out our 2025 scholarships and are deep into tickets sales for this year’s scholarship fundraiser. We are very excited to announce our prize package this year is for a Hawaiian vacation! Unfortunately we were not able to get a wagon for this year’s Westward-Ho parade at the Pendleton Round-Up. We did attend the Cowboy Breakfast, watch the parade, and attend the Governor’s Luncheon before hosting the September State meeting.
