In February our chapter had a booth at the Jefferson County Farm Show. We gained two new members and are excited to have our chapter grow.
We are looking forward to hosting the State OWA meeting on March 21st. This coincides with the State FFA Convention in Redmond. We look forward to seeing you there.
We are busy getting ready for our big spring event- The Central Oregon Ag Show that will take place at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday March 28th and 29th. We will have all kinds of fun activities for kids and their families plus a visit from the Oregon Dairywomen and the Dairy Ambassadors making smoothies on a bike! We have two new activities this year and love seeing this event grow larger every year.
We are also gearing up for our First Thursday booth starting in May. This takes place in Madras as part of their community engagement events. This is a great opportunity to promote agriculture.
