The Linn-Benton Chapter remained active throughout the fall, with strong participation in both statewide initiatives and local outreach efforts.

We continued our support of local FFA chapters through donations to each chapter in Linn and Benton counties and also contributed to Summer Ag Institute and Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom, including a basket for their annual Fall Harvest Dinner.

Several members volunteered at the Willamette Valley Ag Show, where our booth was a popular, high-traffic stop and a great opportunity to engage with the public.

The year concluded with our Pape Christmas Tree Project, coordinated by member Carrie Jackson-Corrado. This year’s theme was Oregon fruits and vegetables. At our November meeting, members created handmade ornaments and a small group decorated the tree which is in Pape’s lobby in Tangent and Harrisburg. Pape makes a contribution to our chapter for these efforts.

Looking ahead, members are preparing for chapter elections and participation in the 2026 OWA State Convention. Wishing everyone a wonderful start to 2026!
