The OWA both at the 2025 Oregon State Fair had volunteers from every chapter in the state! Over 55 members, relatives, and friends showed up to share Agriculture and OWA with attendees.

This year we challenged fairgoers on their knowledge of agricultural crops in everyday items. It was a fun activity that could be tailored to the knowledge level of the participants. Many comments were received about how you never think of agriculture being in many of the items such as shampoo, lotion, baseballs, etc.
New in the booth this year was a TV playing an agricultural presentation on a continuous loop. Thank you to the PR Committee for the idea and funding to make that happen. The Promotional Committee supplied the booth with very popular wooden rulers, bookmarks, stickers, magnets, and temporary tattoos. We also had Play-Doh and SourPunch Straws to hand out along with “Almost Everything Starts on a Farm or Ranch” bumper stickers.

decorating and setting it up. It is a powerful display that shares the important message of how many people one farmer feeds each day.
